The sat2web facility has been developed by Solo Satellite Communications to provide solutions for delivering media for our clients, wherever they are in the world. The concept behind the facility is to use a broadcast mentality for maintaining quality at every stage of the transmission chain to streaming media on the internet.

Our unique position coming from a satellite broadcasting background provides all the in house knowledge to take your content and deliver it in as close to real time as the internet will allow* - no excuses - all in house!

Our facilities have been specified using the best dedicated hardware encoders and servers, and we have the full facilities of a CDN (Content Delivery Network) providing the backend to our streams ensuring fluid delivery globally. This is something that we were fairly insistant that we be able to maintain control over, & we are able to setup a new stream taking pictures directly from satellite including a new unique publishing point in about an hour. We also have adhoc delivery publishing points available for emergency restoration of streams.
