No, All of Solo's uplinks are fully redundant. It is possible to use the redundant encoder and modulator to generate an additional television service, and transmit it using the same RF tranmsission equipment (ie. amplifiers & antenna,). The result is two independent transmissions from one truck, the downside, there isn't one really!

Solo will always recommend that we supply an additional encoder and modulator whenever dual path is requested to maintain N+1 redundancy. We are of course also willing to use the spare encoder to generate the additional service if required.
